Wilfried Seipel
(sent by sms from Luxor, Egypt, and then authorized to be printed, again by sms from Seul, South Korea)
you may use my simple words... w.
your shadows are full of love and innocence!

(An excerpt from an sms sent to me after my solo exhibition “Shadow of the shadows” which he opened at the Slovene Science Institute for the European month of photography, Nov. 2008)
"Shadows are very interesting phenomena... Jung wrote a lot about them... reading about them helped me a lot in life, even in my career!”
Franz Wohlfahrt
(An excerpt from a talk for the possible sponsorship of my project for this very book on the language of shadows)

Pozdrav! Helga
“aha…shadows!, oh leave shadows alone!...rather look at all that is around the shadows, at all that is NOT the shadow! …Shadows are interesting because they bring out everything that is NOT them- and that is what is interesting- the colors, the life – look…."
(from a talk with "Rikli - the lake painter" on a warm sunny, spring day while sitting on an old stone bridge located within the Vila Bled park on the shore of the Bled lake with lotuses and swans swimming below us and a small pilgrimage church on an island eyeing us, maybe even listening to us in the distance… April 2009)
Peter Weiermair, while walking down the street following the preview of my exhibition “can you swim, sabes nadar?” at the City Museum Ljubljana on Oct. 13, 2008, heading towards the national university library NUK in Ljubljana.
Prof. Peter Weiermair stops on the sidewalk, looks at me, then confidently and in a matter of fact manner says: “Photography itself is the shadow of reality - in a Platonic way!” then he smiles and we both head separate ways; he to the library, and I to my shadows.
So...
...photography of shadows, is then the shadow of the shadow!?
