Ko zasveti luč,ko zasveti sonce, nastane senca. Zatorej išči luč iz sence. Tako bo senčnost življenja bolj svetla, kajti ni vsaka luč veselje niti vsaka senca žalost.

Igra svetlobe in gibov, tenkočuten odsev tebe. To je senca. Senca je tvoj vzgib, skomig in pot. Pozna vsak tvoj korak. Je tvoja sled. Odmev. Sopotnik. Včasih se opoteka in išče, drugič stopa odločno in ubrano. Ne potreplja te po rami, ampak žgečka po nosu, ne govori, ampak je nemo ves čas ob tebi. Brez nje bi bil svet dolgočasen, brezobličen, bled, brezbrižen. In če jo dobro poznaš, se ti lahko zazdi, da se v črno-belih tonih svetijo barviti odtenki tvojega sveta, izraza in misli. Pred sabo ne moreš ubežati. Zato je lepo, če si s svojo senco dober prijatelj. In še lepše je, če je senca zaradi tvojega sončnega sonca.

Moja senca, pripada le delno meni. Drugi jo vidijo bolje od mene. Meni se vedno nekoliko skrije in me pušča nepotešeno. Je tisti del mene, ki ga ne poznam ali ga nočem poznati. Ko se bom poznala vso, bo menda spremenila barvo. Iz temne v belo...
Zato meni pripadajo druge sence, ne moja.

Ko pomislim na senco, najprej pomislim na tri stvari:
1) ker imam tvojo fotografijo na steni v pisarni, pomislim na tebe in tvoje umetniško delo
2) pomislim na ljudski rek "skočiti preko lastne sence"
3) pomislim na pesem "Shadow on the Wall", Mike Oldfield.

Je kakšna povezava med temi tremi mislimi?
Mislim,da v tem, da je vsaka senca del nečesa - ne odsev ampak del - tvoja umetnost je del tebe, "skočiti preko lastne sence" pomeni nekaj pri sebi spremeniti in pesem govori o zelo osebni stvari in je meni ena ljubših - torej že del mene. Torej senca ni odsev ampak del nečesa!

Most definitions will associate "shadow" with something gloomy and dark, even the dark side of one's personality. For me however shadow means light, and, maybe being from a Mediterranean country, it means the joy light can bring to life. There can be no shadow without light, therefore where there are shadows there must be light. And it is even more - in that context it means calmness, freshness and protection - most humans enjoy bright sunny days but at the same time they look for the protection and freshness provided by shade - and shade is nothing else than shadows without defining limits.
