Artistic science mixing with scientific art-
Shadows and space: shadows exist contaminating space

How do shadows look outside of our space, outside of Earth?
Do they exist there as well?

"The shadow we're straining to see is that of a monstrous black hole, a place where gravity rules supreme, swallowing light and stretching the fabric of space to breaking point. Black holes are perhaps the most outrageous prediction of science, and even though we can paint fine theoretical pictures of them and point to evidence for many objects that seem to be black hole-ish, nobody has ever actually seen one." (Stephen Battersby, The monster at the centre of the galaxy, New Scientist, 23. 5. 2009, p. 28-31)

Can black holes swallowing matter in outer space, be compared with our Earth's shadows swallowing mind, thoughts, ideas of our innermost space?

Earthistic shadows need a body to cast a shadow to catch the attention of the mind to keep it in concentration, enabling to move the mind to other attitudes, bringing it other perceptions thus other dimensions...;
Outer space shadows-black holes, being much more aggressive need the mind to think of the black hole, to then seek the black hole, and thus to bring the body to the black hole, to move the body to other places...

"of course, the black hole itself does not shine since it actually swallows light. That is how we hope to be able to see the light from gas swirling round the hole will be devoured, so the hole should show up as a shadow or silhouette against the background of hot, shining gas. Seeing the shadow is not easy. It won't have sharp edges because we still see light and other radiation from gas in front of the hole. (Stephen Battersby, The monster at the centre of the galaxy, New Scientist, 23. 5. 2009, p. 28-31)

Our mind IS our shadow, in the sense that much is unknown to us about it. Our mind is our means to the shadow. It is able to suck us in and bring us to a new perception. A different composition of emotions invites a different attitude, which if taken, offers a whole new way of life. Our mind is thus our black hole, able to pull us in a different world, existing parallel to the one we may be living in this moment with its certain attitude formed by a certain set of emotions.
